Inspired by the concept of the “4th Internal Monad” from the “Michael Teachings” — the phase of life when we begin to question who we really are and whether we are being true to ourselves. A pause to evaluate if our actions are congruent and aligned with our true desires and goals or whether we are simply following automatic rules from conditioning by society. It is about finding our true personality and essential purpose.
The music draws from West African rhythms, synths from the 80’s and a good measure of Progressive Rock. Weaving Bembe and Bikutsi, we build a trance to the motto “To Thine Own Self Be True”.

To thine own self be trueBe true
Look at what I’ve doneI’ve accomplished it allStaying in the gameI have learned how to playWorking hard defining my own way
I pause to observeIf I’m doing alrightThere is some unrestIn my mind and my heartIs this what I wanted to express?
I understandThat this path has to changeThere’s a certainty thatSomething must be doneWith clarity
I long for freedomLeave all behindFind what’s real in this placeGo back home againDancing with my true blissInternal Grace
These doubts hurt a lotI just let them walk byThis time I was lucky enoughTo declineMany people lost in their embrace
I realizeThat my life has just changedThere’s a certainty thatSomething made throughAll the insanity
It’s truly freedomLeft all behindFound what’s real in this placeWent back home againDancing with my true blissEternal Grace
There’s movement all aroundAnd I see the world it’s the sameBut I have become aware
And finally I realizeThat my life has just changedThere’s a certainty thatSomething made throughAll the insanity
Yearn for freedom!Leave all behindFind what’s real in this placeGo back home againDancing with your true selfTrue to yourself
To thine own self be true
